We enjoy a quality of life that is rare. It is the key responsibility of our elected leaders to ensure that it remains intact for generations to come.
Our shared vision for Milton is simple – safeguard our unique identity as a city and maintain the equestrian landscape that defines our community.
We must elect leaders of high moral character that serve in the best interest of all citizens, protect Milton from overdevelopment and crime and ensure equal freedoms are shared across community.
Doug Hene is a devoted community leader, steadfast in his dedication to preserving the rich heritage of Milton. A proud alumnus of Milton High School, Class of 1995, Doug’s roots in the area precede the City of Milton itself.

MILTON IS A CITY OF PROMISE
Milton is consistently ranked as offering residents among the highest quality of life in Georgia.
In 2011 - just five years after the City's incorporation - Milton was rated as having the highest quality of life in the state of Georgia and ninth-highest in the southern United States.
That reputation continues as Milton is consistently recognized nationally as one of the best (and safest) places to call home.
I want our children to inherit the Milton we know and love, not a shell of its former self.
We’ve seen firsthand how explosive growth in neighboring cities can threaten the very fabric of what makes Milton truly special. Irresponsible growth puts at risk our green spaces, the equestrian landscape we treasure, and the charming rural character of Milton.
As your next city council member, I will fight to protect and preserve Milton while guiding its growth responsibly. I take this personally as Milton is my hometown. My vision for our city is grounded in preserving our unique identity and the very things that make us proud to call Milton home.
